Bussey built our original 120 spaces in summer of 1978 and in June of 1984 Mr. Bussey sold the flea market business to a limited partnership with Mr. Harold J. Smith. Mr. Smith has been a General Partner of the business since the beginning and today Mr. Smith and his three children are still running Bussey's Flea Market. His children Karmen West, Steven and Pamela Smith are now limited partners of this large flea market and are committed to providing the residents of San Antonio and its surrounding areas quality pieces and large selection of vendors to choose from. Bussey's Flea Market has grown to be a third generation family owned company over the past 33 years or so and we have officially grown our market to hold over 500 vendors.
